Greetings and Salutations
I was there. After five weeks, without being late for a pu or del, not refusing any loads, no days off, I gave two weeks notice.
When asked why, I explained in five weeks I have had 8,000 miles. A person cannot survive on 1,600 miles a week.
The following two weeks I was kept busy enough I finally ran out of hours. At the end of two weeks I asked where they wanted me to park the truck. Why?, they asked. I reminded them I had given my two weeks notice. Their response was "Well we've kept you busy the past two weeks, we didn't think you'd still want to quit.
ROTFLMAO
I should of realized during orientation. The person in charge said her qualification was her husband had a CDL. hmmm. she's going to explain things to me???
But, remember, that's only my personal experience there. Others may and probably have different stories.
I told my dispatcher I'm a schizophrenic - now I get twice as many miles!
