Trucking Companies : Quick Question...

Quick Question...

by Clint » Apr. 28, 8:18 pm

I am a recent truck driving school graduate. I am thinking about becoming a team driver for US Express and I know an experienced guy who is looking for a partner. The question is: Will I still have to do the 150hrs with a trainer before I can run teams even though my "would be" partner is experienced? I assume so since he is not a "Trainer" but just wanting to find out for sure. Thanks.

You might find someone who knows the answer here, but for a sure answer just call US Express.

Covenant will let a family member or friend train you.. Not sure about US Xpress. Im sure there close to the same as The guy who owns covenant and US Xpress are brothers.

i dont know about us express, but covenant i would not work for at all.. i was stuck in s.d. last winter for a weekend and was talking with two of their team drivers that had less than 2 months out on their own. not only did they have an air leak on their truck but they didnt know if their brakes were in adjustment, and the were heading in to a snow storm in wa. seriously, im just glad i was heading back to tx, thats just stupid.
