Has anyone here had any experience with Prime, Inc.? I don't know much about how well they pay.

A number of years back Prime was known notoriuosly for their shady lease operations but since then they have cleaned up their act from what I have heard . I personally have not heard any bad things recently spoken of them . On a different site I read comments from those currently working there , all had said they have made more money with Prime both as company drivers as well as the ones who have leased trucks . One guy said they will literally run you into the ground . For those who aren't runners you may get burnt out running 3200 a week all the time as the one driver complained . I just thought I'd give you that info from what I read . Cya

I know this is a little late. I ran with Prime for awhile and I thought they were a great company. I have no complaints about them.
I did run hard and burnt myself out though. I was out for four months at a time. I didn't want to go home because I liked seeing my bank account grow every week. I am going back with them in January, and I will run a little different. Meaning I will go home a little more often. Yeah I say that now.

Something that I learned. They say no forced dispatch, but I would never turn down a load no matter how crappy it paid, because I knew the next one's would more than make up for it. That is the way I always looked at it, and I always saw a hefty paycheck at the end of the week.

When did 3200 miles a week become the criteria for a hard week? Give a try! Wear the wheels off the truck! Work hard and you will prosper anywhere!
