MY SON IS IN PRISON FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FOR OVER A YEAR. HE IS AN EX FIREMAN ENGINEER WITH S.C. wHEN HE GETS OUT CAN HE BE A TRUCKER? WHAT SCHOOL AND COMPANY WILL TAKE A RECORD. WE PLAN ON HAVING IT REMOVED WHEN TIME ALLOWS. WE ARE CHECKING INTO HIS FUTURE PLANS. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Most companies won't hire with a felony, some will after 5 or 10 years, that depends on how bad they need drivers at the time. Good luck and God Bless.

see, this is completely ridiculous. I'm having the same problem. I went out with a friend of mine 3 years ago to play a practical joke on a friend of mine from High School. My ex-girlfriends punk-ass 15 year old cousin was with us, and stole my friend from High Schools cigarettes. Now, I'm stuck with a Felony 3 for Robbery, and can't find a job. Why is it that in this country, you are EXPECTED to remain a criminal. I understand not giving the guy with a robbery charge the trailer full of 60" tv's, but I want to work flatbed..WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO STEAL A 40K LBS STEEL COIL FOR?

If he has had a CDL for 6 yrs or more, and you have a little start up capital, he could grt his own authority and give it a go on his own.
