wifi...

ok. Ive been on the road now for a month or so (total). Having pretty good luck with my wifi hunting issues. Texas is good in that you can use it at the rest areas for free. I found Burger Kings, libraries, and a few other choice spots to use the unlocked internet capabilities while out on the road. I'm new and dont have the money to be paying for idle aire or Pilot/Ta/ whatever truck stop prices for internet. ($150/ year!!!!) pah, hunt it down and help a brother out... id be happy to send out more as i continue along. by the way...i'm parked next to a Best Western where I flirted with the front desk girl a bit to get the pass word for their internet. happy and safe travels. oh yeah, the convention center on South Padre Island nota good spot to park overnight....cops woke me up at 2 am and i had to LEAVE the ISLAND!!!!!

get an iphone, jailbreak it and us it like a modem anywhere you get internet on your phone. thats alot cheaper than paying for aircards or idleair or whatever else and you are using the phone anyways.

WIFI

I dont like paying for wifi if I can get it for free. A lot of hotel chains dont require passwords so I just get as close as possible and view available networks. Sometimes I even get a strong signal. You will find most are unsecured.
