I have had a couple different GPS's, The worst one was the Magellan. It really was no good. Someone broke into my car and stole it, and I was actually glad to have an excuse to get a different one.

I bought a Garmin Nuvi, and it is awesome. It picks up on your location quicker, and is way easier to use. I would reccomend it.

I Wonder the same thing, good Question, Its hard going off a Map Quest lol!! My Atlas is for Major Highways, But I been totally lost on a couple new Accounts we got. Once I got to the actual town, I have missed turns because there's no way to see the signs because rain or dark outside. I would be looking for turn arounds and some time have to drive a extra 3-8 miles just to find a open parking lot of some sort! that'll take 10-15 min out of my delivery time. I deffinitly need a talking Garm GPS!! Thnks Yall...

I try to use my laptop to view locations on Google Earth. This gives me the best image of the final route, but I use my installed GPS (Delorme) to get me there. The problem is keeping the laptop secure and usable. Laptop stands are bulky and besides, it's not my truck. I'm going to keep searching for something that holds my laptop and makes it usable for Internet / GPS.
