I drive a freightliner, and recently have been getting into cold weather--15 to 20 at night--i refuse to let my engine idle all night---im a independent---own my own truck---my question and i sure their must be a million answers out there. My question, can you use an electric blanket with an inverter and thereby skip running the truck---and will it pull batteries down over night if its possible.

I've heard of guys using them, but never tried it myself.
